Schools & authorities
Supporting schools and local authorities across Hertfordshire
We work alongside schools, SENCOs, pastoral teams, families and local authorities to provide targeted one-to-one mentoring for young people who need additional support. Our aim is to build trust, engagement and confidence, while working as part of the wider support around the young person.
Working together
A trusted partner for the young people who need it most
We know that schools and local authorities are stretched. You're doing everything you can for the young people in your care, but sometimes a young person needs additional time, consistency and a trusted adult relationship. That's where we can help.
We work as a complement to your existing provision, not a replacement for it. Dave will build the kind of trusted, consistent relationships that help young people re-engage with school, manage their behaviour, and start to believe in their own potential.
Who we work with
Young people who are struggling to engage
At risk of exclusion
Young people whose behaviour, engagement or circumstances are putting their place at school at risk and who may benefit from a trusted adult relationship.
Persistent absentees
Young people who are regularly missing school because of anxiety, disengagement or other barriers, and who need patient, consistent support to begin re-engaging.
SEMH needs
Young people experiencing social, emotional or mental health difficulties who would benefit from consistent one-to-one mentoring alongside their existing support.
Looked-after children
Young people in care who may benefit from an additional trusted adult, consistency and positive support in their lives.
Post-exclusion reintegration
Young people returning to education after exclusion who need support to rebuild confidence, relationships and engagement.
Low confidence and self-esteem
Young people whose confidence has been knocked and who need someone to help them recognise their strengths, interests and potential.
